DISTILLER S.A. is committed to this kind of wastewater treatment. It is for this reason we have invested so heavily in our distillation and treatment plant. We have a distillation plant with two 20 m³ stills that eliminate contaminants using distillation. The distilled water will later require a biological treatment that will be carried out in our biological treatment plant. The biological treatment plant is totally automated and we have introduced state-of-the-art installations. These new installations enable us to obtain purified waters that fulfil the parameters established by European legislation on wastewater disposal.. Our treatment plant facilities include: - Storage capacity of 1000 m³
- Two biological reactors of 1000 m³ and 900 m³ both equipped with MBR technology (Membrane Bioreactor)
- Sludge treatment through centrifugation
- Advanced chemical oxidation treatment in addition to biological treatment
The aqueous wastes, that solvents contain, are initially treated in the rectification columns where we obtain the highest amount of distilled water. This water will later purify through a biological treatment. Wastewater treatment diagram |
